From the Editor:
The momentum in the DNN ecosystem since DNN Summit has continued. As ecosystem manager I am fortunate to see a lot of the activities across the broad spectrum of our ecosystem. Looking at all sides of community activity keeps me busy and energized about the future!
One of the latest activities that has me excited was the proof of concept that Andrew Hoefling demoed for the DNN Technology Advisory Group this week. The proof of concept consists of three parts with the vNext solution running on Microsoft’s latest technology, .NET Core. While mostly conceptual at this point, it was an intriguing presentation. Check out the meeting replay for more info.
But wait… there’s more!
The DNN Corp engineering team posted DNN archived installs (the really old ones) to GitHub. Every now and then someone will have a very old site that needs upgrading to a specific version and these archived files being more accessible should help in those scenarios.
We also hosted a great community webinar on Beginning DNN Theming, I interviewed the DNN-Connect leadership team about the upcoming DNN-Connect conference, and the DNN Corp Partner Program updates are almost ready for roll out.
By the way of new releases, Daniel Mettler and the 2SIC team have released KOI to help create harmony across CSS frameworks, David Poindexter and the nvisionative team released a new version of nvQuicksite, and a Toronto-based DNN User Group is starting up thanks to Aderson Oliveira.
The Ecosystem Advisory Groups continue to make progress as well. The Awareness group is having good dialogue about updates to DNNSoftware.com and a very neat awards program. The feedback from the Partner Advisory Group helped shape the updates nearing rollout with the partner program, and the Technology Advisory Group has started posting their meetings online.
As we continue into Spring I’m looking forward to attending DNN-Connect (be sure to check out the call for speakers), seeing more from the EAG’s, and the continued energy in the DNN Community.
See you next month...

Jeronimo Castro is a long-time user of DNN. As CEO of InfoFactor, Jeronimo and team use DNN as a development framework to build and deliver solutions to customers. InfoFactor is based in Medellin, Colombia. Jeronimo sees tremendous growth potential in South America for adoption of DNN and growth of the ecosystem there.

Call For Speakers - All Things Open Conference
All Things Open is is an annual conference specifically focused on all things open source and it’s an awesome conference. The conference is in Raleigh, NC in October and consistently has some of the best speakers around. They have recently opened up their Call for Speakers and it would be great if we had some DNN representation there. I’m going to submit a session and I hope you will too!
Thanks for spreading the word, Andrew. And thanks for everything you do for the DNN ecosystem.
If you work with Angular and DNN, then this post by Daniel Groh is a must-read.
Yes. Why, yes, David! We’ll be your Valentine each and every day. Thanks for all that you do.
