Editor's Note
Welcome to 2019! I hope you had a good holiday break and are ready for the new year. We made a lot of progress in 2018 and it was great to see the community step up and take ownership of the platform. The best part is that there are even more good things in store for the DNN ecosystem this year. I’m excited about the future.
There are several upcoming events to be tuned in to with DNN Summit being next month. The conference lineup of speakers and content is top notch and I’ve even heard rumors of some unique announcements happening at the conference. Microsoft’s Jon Galloway is the keynote speaker and we look forward to having him headlining the conference. Whether you are going to DNN Summit or not we’d like for you to provide us with your perspective on a few things. Check out the DNN Summit Survey.
The DNN TAG has put in a lot of work on the next release. DNN Platform is getting close to version 9.3 shipping. The updated schedule (which can be found on the roadmap page) is Code Freeze on 1/11, followed by a Release Candidate on 1/14, with the final release on 2/4. Given that schedule, DNN 9.3 will be hot off the presses just before DNN Summit!
I hope you are looking forward to the upcoming year as much as I am!

Partner Spotlight: Clarity
In this section we’ll feature a DNN Partner and discuss the partner’s firm and any feature projects that
show off DNN.
About Clarity
Clarity is a full-service team of DNN specialists with over 10 years of experience using DNN. Our team consists of backend developers, CMS developers, front-end and UI/UX designers, mobile developers, branding/creative experts, SEO and online marketing experts, and business project consultants. We are privately held, and are located in beautiful Austin, TX. Our team,
roughly 25 in size, has built well over 1,000 DNN portals. DNN is our CMS of choice
for building high-performant, custom websites.
Areas of Specialization
Along with designing DNN sites, Clarity has developed our own custom B2B / B2C
eCommerce platform (Clarity eCommerce), as well as an integration platform, called
Clarity Connect. Clarity eCommerce & Connect allow us to build and implement highly
customized eCommerce storefronts and marketplaces (scalable to Millions of SKUs),
with back-office integrations to line of business applications like Salesforce, NetSuite,
Dynamics CRM-GP-AX-NAV, Oracle, SAP and Sage. Virtually any back-office
application can be integrated. Clarity also specializes in medical portals, including
integrations to EMR/EHR’s like EPIC, eClinicalWorks and more. Clarity has done over
3,000 integrations over the years.
Journey with DNN:
Thirteen years ago, the founders started building custom websites, and as they evaluated
each project, had to select a CMS. Within the first few months of being in business, it
became quite clear that DNN was the most developer-friendly and secure CMS used
and was chosen more than any other CMS for client projects. Clarity decided that DNN
was what they would build our business on, and out of our 1,300 projects (including web
and mobile apps), over 1,000 have been built on DNN. Clarity’s been a DNN partner
ever since the inception of the partner program more than 10 years ago.
Recent Projects:
With so many DNN projects to showcase, it makes sense to talk about the different
types of projects we’ve recently launched. For a rapidly growing company,
DudeSolutions.com is a great site, and with thousands of pieces of collateral, Clarity
had to build a custom, self-contained and expandable Resource Center. For larger or
high-traffic sites, SAN.org (San Diego International Airport) is a site with over 20 Million
visitors, tons of custom navigation, more than a dozen custom integrations with flight
tracking software, interactive maps, galleries and more. For eCommerce, Merck
Pharmaceutical’s Animal Health site is a great exercise in design, with lazy loading,
custom navigation and much more. Finally, onto global marketplaces, there’s New
Horizon Computer Learning Center’s implementation, where Clarity’s eCommerce
platform and DNN were used to create a 350+ store/portal deployment across more
than 70 countries and processing transactions in 200 currencies. For more information
on these and many more projects visit our portfolio (Clarity-Ventures.com/Portfolio).
Free Demo & Consultation:
Clarity, as a consultancy, enjoys long-term relationships with many of our clients. As
such, we’re happy to discuss and consult with new prospects on their projects, often
helping with their design and planning during the demo and proposal phase. Visit our
website, or give us a call today for a free consultation.
