The DNN Technology Ecosystem Advisory Group continues to meet on a weekly basis mapping out the future of DNN. The meeting agenda and minutes are shared here in blog entries so that everyone can see the progress being made and conversations occurring in the group.

This February 26th meeting we discussed about Testing and release date, Nuget Packages, 9.4.0 roadmap, .NET Core planning and NDepend.

   1. 9.3.0 Testing Status & Release Date
      Daniel Valadas and Mike Smeltzer will meet to try to fix the IE issue. Plus a couple of PRs and issues to merge/close/remove from 9.3.0 tag
   2. NuGet Packages - Discuss Microsoft feedback regarding packages, and PR. Open item regarding backfilling changes.
      Mitchel will follow up with Peter on this subject, to try to match Microsoft guidance.
5. New business
   1. 9.4.0 Roadmap Items: .NET Framework 4.7.2 - Per Microsoft the worst issue is Minor, and windows patching is installing this typically. Will need to communicate the issue, but needed to accelerate work towards .NET Core (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/migration-guide/runtime/4.6-4.7.2)
      We are integrating this change in Dnn 9.4 and a note needs to be added in the roadmap, etc.
      Persona bar improvements (accessibility, missing features, improvements, etc.)
   2. .NET Core Planning - Mitch to review discussions with Jon Galloway and updated strategy
      Andrew is working on and will be sharing on Github a work item outlining the move to .NetCore. Razor Pages would be an opt-in model for Dnn 9.4 flagged as an experimental feature (no guaranteed forward compatibility). Mitchel will work on a new API structure.
   3. NDepend for Code Quality - We have an option of getting a free license, they would like attribution on the GitHub repo
      Mitchel is talking with NDepend regarding this.
