The 9.2.2 release has arrived and it’s arrival signals several milestones worthy of mentioning. It represents great progress in the community, collaboration with DNN Corp, and it is the first 100% community driven release in a long time. If you haven’t upgraded this is a great time to get current and we’d like to thank all community members who contributed to this release.
A Milestone for the Community
If you’ve been around the DNN Community for some time you will know that in recent years DNN Corp has been responsible for posting releases of the open source project. When DNN was acquired new CEO, Andy Tryba, denoted that the community would lead again. Since that announcement there has been a lot of self-organization in the community and several people stepping up and taking ownership of various tasks.
Along with resources provided by the .NET Foundation the community has reached a big milestone by posting the 9.2.2 release as the first 100% community driven release in a long time! This includes generating the release and posting the installation packages. We are indeed in a new era of DNN.
