About once a year the DotNetNuke® Team gets a new face, a new cast of characters. And as the popularity of the platform has grown, so has our list of former team members... a group we have come to affectionately recognize as "DotNetNuke Alumni".
Over time folks have come and gone from the team for a variety of reasons ranging from heart-wrenching health & family issues to simple philosophical differences. Sometimes the transitions have been easy and sometimes they have been hard. But regardless of circumstances, one thing we know for certain... anyone who has ever contributed in the role of a Core Team member has participated in a very meaningful way.
As of today all DotNetNuke Alumni (2004 - present) will be awarded Platinum Benefactor status for 2007. And going forward any retiring Core Team Member will receive Platinum Benefactor benefits for the following year.
So who are all of the DotNetNuke Alumni? Tomorrow, a letter will be going out to the following former Core Team Members:

** Are we missing anyone?
This is one small step in an evolving program to foster and demonstrate appreciation for those who contribute to the platform in so many ways: small or large, visible or invisible, popular or unpopular. To quote Cameron Wiley, of Apache's Jakarta project...
"Opensource doesn't improve by advocacy, mindshare, or by having 10 million users, it improves by the participation and contribution from the user community."
