I hate to bother anyone with this, but I can't find the project templates for vb and dnn 8.x anywhere.  I noticed that Christoc as usual, was kind enough to have some templates for c# for both dnn 7 and 8, but for VB, all I see are templates for DNN 7.

Am I missing something?  When I try to install it, I receive the 'templates already installed' message, but still no DNN 8 vb templates (for 2015, but I can't find them for any of the VS versions for DNN 8 VB).

If they do not exist, what is the procedure for using a DNN 7 vb template for a DNN 8 website?  I tried this once a couple of months ago, and had all kinds of issues with dlls, so many that I just scrubbed it at the time.  I have an older module I had done that I want to update, and it's in VB and fairly large, so I don't want to have to convert the whole thing to c#.

And ideas?  Any help much appreciated!

as far as I can see, the templates at https://github.com/ChrisHammond/DNNTe...
are provided for DNN 7 and 8 in VB and C#

You can also use the SPA and MVC module templates we (DNN) produce: https://github.com/dnnsoftware/DNN.Templates/releases

I'd try to rely on community projects, which definitely do not include promotion for (closed source) commercial packages.

Sorry, I've been ill and can't always catch up.  The issue it seems with the christof downloads is that while there are dnn 7 and 8 versions of dnn project for csharp,

there is only a dnn version 7 for vb.net.  Sorry for not making that clear.  So when one tries to create a vb project with vb, you end up with all of these version 7 errors that I have no clue how to fix correctly.

Anyone?  Does anyone build in vb  for version 8?  I cannot use any of the 'specialized' project templates like spc, as this is an old vb project I am trying to repair.  Thanks for any help.
