OK. I have the site and calendar time zones for set to Eastern time. I can see that the server time is an hour behind (Central). Why do my Calendar entries display times 3 hours later than the times I entered?  I need to clear this up before I can have anyone start doing the data entry.  Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks.

JoAnn

which module are you using?
Most likely, the developers did not implement time zone handling correctly.
Starting with DNN 7, DNN provides support of windows timezones, allowing to adjust display of time values to users' time zone.

Thanks!

DNN 8 - Events Module - I only want the time I actually enter to be used.  That would be the local time where the event is occurring.  How confusing would it be for a member who lives in Greenwich to tell someone here that the meeting is 6PM when it is really 1 PM?  While I appreciate the work that went into that feature, I am not sure how many users would benefit from it.

if I remember correctly, Events module has a mode for localized and non-localized Events, you would Need to specify time Zone for the calendar first.

I did set up a time zone for the calendar and used the local time zone.  I asked my host support at PowerDNN if there was something on the server that was knocking it out of whack and they just said to set the local calendar time back 3 hours to a different timezone.  That works, but something tells me that when daylight savings time kicks in it won't anymore, and then I would have to go edit every listing.  I am not finding anything about telling it to use the local time but even if it did, it is still off 3 hours.  Ugh.
