Hello,

I'm excited about a lot of the upcoming changes in 6.2... I was curious though whether there's been thought to a simple way for users to opt-out of some of the social activities.

As an example, how would I make my name non-searchable in the "messaging" module? How would I make myself never show up in the members directory?

Presumably, once it's fully implemented, a user might be able to do this by controlling the privacy of their first and last name fields - is that correct? If so, what happens when their first name is public and their last name isn't? Is there a way I can control visibility of the "Display Name" field? I use a calculated display name field, will that matter?

Could it be possible to set the visibility of your whole profile at once? In other words, rather than setting my individual properties, could I have a security setting that overrides everything?

Thanks,

Mike
