Extending the DNN 8 Module Challenge

In October I announced the DNN 8 Module Challenge.  I challenged DNN developers to create modern DNN 8 modules using the new DNN 8 MVC and SPA module types. While I know that some developers were able to get started right away, others were waiting for new module templates to aid in building their modules.  Other developers were also waiting on certain platform features to be completed in order to build their modules. Our goal with the contest is to make it as easy as possible for developers to participate and to encourage development of modules that really show off the power of the DNN platform.

We originally planned to conclude module submissions by the end of the year.  Given the delays in getting both the SPA and MVC templates completed and in completing some of the DNN 8 features, we have decided to extend the module submission deadline until January 29th.  If you have already completed a module, you now have extra time to work on a second submission or to further polish your original entry.  If you were on the fence because you weren’t sure you would have enough time, now you do.
