Just over a month ago now, Visual Studio 2015 was released into the wild, I started receiving requests to update my DNN development templates for VS2015 shortly before the release. I typically wait until after the release is RTM to work on templates, simply due to other time commitments and projects. With VS2015 however I was quickly able to get a new release of the Module/Theme development templates out for use.
If you are using Visual Studio 2015, you can download the templates from the Visual Studio Gallery, the DNN Store, CodePlex, or the latest location, Github!
Earlier this evening after being pressured, guilted, harassed, by Will Strohl and Joe Brinkman, I went through the process of putting the Templates project on GitHub. Based on what Joe and Will have been saying, they will both be doing some PULL requests to help speed up the development of the templates in the next week, stay tuned as things get prepped for a new release or two!
Installing the Templates
If you have previously installed the templates from the Visual Studio Gallery you can download updates there, using the Tools>Extensions and Updates menu item in Visual Studio 2015.
If you downloaded the VSIX Manually previously, you can grab that again from the DNN Store.
