German User-Group Meeting was a huge success

Today, the German User Group celebrated a full day live Event. The hall was filled up with DNN users from all over Germany and Switzerland, coming together for networking and getting first hand information about several hot subjects:

• Stefan Cullmann and I presented new features in DotNetNuke 4.9 and a 5.0
• Matthias Schlomann gave an impression of current development state of Core Gallery module
• Team Lead Stefan Cullmann presented new features of "Forms & Lists UDT5" modules
• Oliver Dembniak demonstrated latest features of Effority UserDirectory module

After an extensive Lunch, we proceeded with

• SEO-Expert Daniel Müller, who inrtoduced into this subject and provided us with a number of practical tipps
• I gave an overview about legal aspects of providing web site
• Philipp Becker talked about securing DotNetNuke installation
• followed by a practical demonstration of potential risks by Benjamin Herrmann, which was breath taking.
