Joining DotNetNuke Core Team

As you may have read from Scott’s blog post or in last month e-mail newsletter, I was welcomed to the team and really excited to contribute my time to make things happen within the framework. Although I’ve just joined the team, there are so many exciting projects I’m involved with and they will be announced at OpenForce Las Vegas in the coming month.

It’s been almost four years since I’ve been working with DotNetNuke. I’ve got to say that I have learned so much from the community. Besides helping people here and there from the forum and at various speaking engagements, I have been contributing to the framework on and off over the past few years. Joining the team allows me not only to suggest improvements but also to actually make things happen (of course with the agreement from the group I’ll be working with).

As of current, my main role is to assist with user experience within the framework and the community at large. OpenForce Las Vegas is approaching and I hope to find more time after the conference to propose some of the UX workflow to improve DotNetNuke. If you’re interested in suggesting enhancements, please feel free to let me know. I’d love to hear from people!
