Have you discovered the Chat module for DotNetNuke?

One of the latest DNN project modules to be released is the Chat module. This simple to configure and use module enables multiple users to chat with one another in real time. A range of basic formatting tools can be enabled to allow chat members to format the text of their messages and send smileys.

The module uses the standard view module permissions to control which roles/users can view a chat, but also includes a unique set of permissions for setting the roles/users that are permitted to join the chat.

The current release of the Chat module is version 01.00.01 and requires a minimum DNN Version of 04.06.02.
