Hi
We are looking for a couple of volunteers to help out in gemini (support.dotnetnuke.com) as I’m find I that I am having less time nowadays, also I think it will be healthier to have more than one person on board in order to get a different perspective.
The primary task will mainly be validating issues logged by the DNN community, and deciding whether to pass issues across for the core team to deal with.
Other tasks will consist of validating and comparing release notes with Gemini tracker for various projects, reporting to the core team about serious issues, compilation of stats, and making sure the Gemini status/resolutions are in order.
Experience in development and dotnetnuke is a must although you don't have to be a genius at it. You really need to follow procedure, view things from a project perspective, try to be as unbiased as possible when assigning priorities, and try see both sides of the coin when communicating. Being passionate about this platform and having an eye for detail also helps a great deal.
We need at least one hour a week of your time, sometimes two, and ideally a minimum of a year involvement.
Applicants please email alex.shirley[at]dotnetnuke.com. I am hoping we will get some regular gemini customers on board :).
Many thanks for reading this and we very much look forward to hearing from you :)
Alex
