So when do we get the Blog module?

We have to get around a couple of minor concerns.  Technically, some may not care about these things... but we are considering this from our support requirements perspective as well... so bear with me for a sec...

Currently, the module installs as "NewBlog".  But in the scheme of things... it should be just "Blog".  We have a small situation to clean up after in which the original Forums/Blog module created entries for "Blog"... but the Forums/Blog module is being modified and support for that Blog is being dropped.  NewBlog will become the defacto "Blog" for DotNetNuke.

So... we have a couple issues to consider:

• Upgrading old Forum/Blog installs and converting them to (New)Blog.  Upgrades of Forum will leave the old Forum/Blog entries in place... they can't delete them because they'd lose context (since Forum/Blog data were mixed, the only key separating them is ModuleDefinitionID).  We'll have to convert the data, swap out the controls, add default controls to pages (won't that be fun), etc.
  
• Documentation... we don't want all the training, images, etc. to get created showing the module as NewBlog, but rather as "Blog".  Its surprising how much is out there, it really does become a training issue for some.

Hans-Peter is doing all of the coding right now... I'm going to be working on DB scripting and upgrades.  But those are a couple of things that need to get addressed before we publicly release under the DotNetNuke® Projects program.
