This is a call for speakers for the St. Louis Day of .NET for both DotNetNuke and non-DotNetNuke related topics.
As many of you may know, the St. Louis Day Of .NET last year was a huge success for the St. Louis area. The event attracted close to 500 attendees from local to the neighbor States. DotNetNuke had an entire track with many attendees from new comers to experts. Thanks to the effort put out by many of our community members who didn’t mind taking the time to come to town and presented. Among those are Mitchel Sellers, Shawn Mehaffie, and a few of us in St. Louis including myself, Ian Robinson, Chris Hammond, Scott Allender, and Patrick Renner.
The DotNetNuke track itself covered topics from portal administration, design and skinning to module development and we had a great turnout.
This year, the event organizers are aiming for the number of attendees to reach 700 and above. I’d like to give them a hand to help spreading the word about the event and DNN. If you’re interested in coming to St. Louis and speak about DNN as well as other related technologies, feel free to find the speaker submission information here. We (St. Louis DotNetNuke community) would love to have you visit, share your knowledge, and network with other community members.
The event will be held at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles (Greater St. Louis area) on Aug 20th and 21st of this year.
If you’re interested in seeing which sessions were presented last year, see the 2009 list of speakers and sessions here. It might be helpful in shedding some lights on which topics to submit. I will be proposing a few sessions and hope to see many of you as there.
For more details information about the event, please visit the St. Louis Day Of .NET website. If you have any question, please feel free to contact the organizer or email me directly at dang.hcmc[at]gmail[dot]com, I’ll be more than happy to help.
