Thanks to Sanjay Mehrotra, version 04.04.01 of the Feedback module was released yesterday evening.
** Please note... this version of Feedback requires DotNetNuke core version 4.4.0 or above.
Sanjay went through quite a few hoops to get this release out, and if you've been following his blogs at all you're aware of some of them. But what is not necessarily apparent is just how much work he has done to make this release happen in the last few days. That includes all the basics of working through the Module Release Process, learning to use and administer Gemini, properly use our Vault and label source code for version control, find and use our various distributed test environments, etc. Then there is our testing processes... which are becoming much more rigorous for our module projects (more on this another day)... but which include working in Child Portal environments, multiple portal installation, validation of both source & install packages, etc.
Kudos go to Sanjay for helping to identify and diagnose a Child Portal issue which was exposed by the use of CAPTCHA in the module. So one small word of warning... don't try to use the CAPTCHA option of the module on a Child Portal... display of the image will result in invalidation of any non-host user that is logged in. That issue will be fixed for core version 4.05.00 (coming soon to a download near you).
Thanks Sanjay!
