Don’t take your eye off the stove! DotNetNuke is preparing an impressive array of tasty morsels for users of all interests and skills. Employees and Community members alike are doing everything they can to prepare for a summer feast! Are you hungry?
Just consider a few of this month’s headlines for a moment: Conversion of the open core to C#, our very first Community Technology Preview, the 2011 Design Challenge, announcement of Active Social integration, release of DotNetNuke 5.06.02, Day of DotNetNuke in Orlando, and updates to Forum, Documents, Blog, Store and FAQ!
These are just appetizers to prepare for the banquet which is to follow in the coming months. Our team is whipping up a 6.0 release worthy of a 5 star rating! We can expect to see some very interesting contribution and changes that both involve and affect our community. By distributing Community Technology Previews and involving a Module Advisory Committee we’re actively seeking your feedback! For the designers among you, we’re inviting you to spice things up with the 2011 Designer Challenge and for the module developers; we’re soon to reveal a long awaited Extensions Forge update.
Now is the right time to get involved! If you think you like what you’re seeing, don’t wait! Consider downloading the current Community Technology Preview (and the next one)! And post your feedback in our beta forums, our engineers are standing by! And don’t miss the 2011 Design Challenge, or you’ll miss the wave of promotion you could participate in for DotNetNuke 6.0!
The best sauce takes a little while to simmer… you have to start early, use the best ingredients, be patient and keep stirring. But ultimately, a banquet is a family affair and the more folks involved the better it will be. We’re building a winning menu and you’re invited to do a little taste testing in advance of the big party.
