This evening guests will be arriving here in Neuchâtel for the first European DotNetNuke Pro event. For the next couple of days we'll be holding workshops and hanging out together in the mountains. Our venue is at 1325 meters altitude so we should be able to clear our heads of earthly worries. As we have just received a ton of snow, the visitors will be in luck (picture taken yesterday during a snowstorm).
That is, all those that are not on low-cut shoes or that came in a Bermuda. Total attendance will be around 30 from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, England and Holland. With 4 core team members and a further 3 team leads we're not going to be short on DNN know-how in the room. Likely subjects to be discussed are e-commerce, DNN marketing and localization. But this is a provisionary list. We'll see tomorrow morning if there are other issues that people would rather tackle.
With a bit of luck we'll be wired to the outside world and there will be some twitters coming from our mountain-top. Follow Erik van Ballegoij, Timo Breumelhof, Peter Donker, Peter Schotman, Stefan Cullman, or simply the Bring2mind twit feed. Right now things look like this:
In the weekend a number of us will be heading off to Champéry to find even higher altitudes to go skiing/boarding. I should get some images of these guys as they try to negotiate the Swiss Wall, hehe. More to follow ...
