Next week Seattle will host the Global Microsoft MVP Summit. The MVP Award celebrates exceptional technical community leaders worldwide who have demonstrated a passion and willingness to voluntarily share their expertise with others.
** Highlighting this reminder on Summit Registration Day
The DotNetNuke community is fortunate to have a number of MVP's among its ranks (see below). In fact, Microsoft graciously accepts community participation information from DotNetNuke as one of their many considerations for award nomination. This is a high honor which we take quite seriously and for which we are very appreciative.
Monday is registration day... no sessions, just the registration & the expo. So we've also decided to make it an "open house" day both for ourselves and for any MVP who would like to meet & greet some of the DotNetNuke team. You know, many of us have not even met each other (irl)!!! So we're extending this invitation to every MVP who would like to drop by and visit with us:
Monday, March 12th 3:00 - 5:00 (DotNetNuke Open House)
-- DotNetNuke Corporation offices at 601 Union Street, Suite 4200 (Map here, I recommend the aerial view, this is the building immediately adjacent to the WA Convention Center)
-- Add to your calendar (vCal)
Further... we're taking time our first evening to have dinner together and have limited space for additional friends who'd like to attend. We have a room reserved for up to 18 (so have 6-8 additional seats available on a first come, first served basis). Unfortunately, all of the evenings are scheduled so this will mean missing the Regional dinner events also scheduled for that evening.
Monday, March 12th 7:00pm - ? (Dinner with DotNetNuke)
-- At Buca di Beppo
-- Family style dinner, be prepared to chip in *grin*
-- Room for 6-8 guests on first come, first served basis... so ping me!
-- Add to your calendar (vCal)
Let us know if you can be there! And if you're a registered MVP, please let us know so we can get you your MVP avatar on www.dotnetnuke.com. There may be other benefits that you are entitled to!
