Last week I ran into the opportunity of becoming the team leader for the DotNetNuke Chat Module Project. Although I dropped my interest in such a role on several occasions before, things like this always seem to happen when you least expect them to. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to getting started working on this long awaited module.
I guess I should also introduce myself a little and what better occasion would there be than a first blog on DotNetNuke.com? So, here goes…
Obviously, my name is Stefan Kamphuis and I live in the Netherlands. I’m currently working as a team leader and software developer for Capgemini. Some people might recognize my username “superska” from the forums, my website or SnowCovered. The first version of DotNetNuke I got a hold on was 1.00.07 or something. I’ve been following the project ever since. With version 3 of DotNetNuke it became possible to offer DotNetNuke-based solutions to customers of Capgemini.
Together with Leigh Pointer and Erik van Ballegoij I’ve been busy trying to structure the Dutch DotNetNuke community a bit and promote the use of DotNetNuke in general. This also lead to several talks and publications on DotNetNuke in Dutch events and magazines. Leigh has been blogging about this before.
Well, I think this should do for the moment. I hope to be blogging about the Chat module and DotNetNuke in general at least once a week, but time will tell if I’ll manage to do that.
Greetz,
Stefan Kamphuis
