Firstly, since this is my first blog entry, a quick hello from me and a little information about myself.
I’ve been working with DNN for about 8 years now, ever since I set up a website for my local diving club. Initially I did some customisation of the Events module (Alan Vance’s Avanced Calendar) to meet my needs and then joined the Events team in early 2008 where I have been lucky enough to take on a key development role as part of Ernst Peter Taminga’s team and move the module forward.
Earlier this year I took on the leadership of the Feedback module, replacing William Severance to whom I owe a big thank you for handing over the module in an excellent working state. More on the new release below.
Since then I have also been invited to be part of the DNN Core Team, which is great privilege and gives me insight into how DNN works as well as early sight of the roadmap.
Outside my work on DotNetNuke related items, I am a very keen diver, endeavouring to get into the peace and quiet below the surface whenever possible. I also work in the UK for Hewlett Packard's Enterprise Services business, where I am the Chief Architect to a global energy business.
Feedback version 05.01.00 is released!
This is my first release as the lead for the DNN Feedback module and I'm pleased to announce that the module has reached a stage in the DNN Release process where only final publication to DotNetNuke.com downloads page is required. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in getting this release out the door.
This module is a relatively minor update to version 5.0.2, fixing a few bugs and bringing in line with my development standards.

It is envisaged that the next release, version 6.0.0, will move the module to being DNN 6.x compliant. Some of this work has already been completed including changing to v6 form patterns (e.g. error messages) and removal of obvious help messages against feedback input fields.
