The First European Day of DotNetNuke
Following the success of the first Day of DotNetNuke held in Tampa, 2009, we are thrilled to announce the first European Day of DotNetNuke. This event will take place at the Microsoft Conference Center, Paris, France on May 28, 2010 and will bring together DotNetNuke enthusiasts from across Europe. You are hereby invited to join them. Whether you earn your living building DNN based applications or you’re just interested in the largest open source CMS on .NET, you are welcome to join us in the City of Light. Due to the kind sponsorship of Microsoft this event will be free.
The venue: the Microsoft Conference Center in the heart of Paris
“Day of DotNetNuke” is a new, global series of one-day mini conferences targeted at a wide spectrum of DotNetNuke users. These include, but are not limited to, administrators, developers, skinners, hosting providers, integrators and consultants. Whereas the OpenForce conferences (the official DotNetNuke conferences that take place every fall in the Netherlands and the US) tend to be more formal and targeted at a corporate audience, the Day of DotNetNuke events are less formal in nature. Here you get the opportunity to meet some of the key players in the DNN ecosystem in person.
This Day of DotNetNuke is sponsored by Microsoft and jointly organized by the French DotNetNuke user group and DNN-Europe, a network of DotNetNuke professionals around Europe. We will engage speakers from around the world to give both advanced topic presentations as well as entry level presentations. Whether you’re a seasoned DotNetNuke programmer or just interested in what you can do with this platform, there will be sessions aimed at you. We’re pleased to announce that among the speakers we have contracted Shaun Walker, founder of the platform, chief architect at DotNetNuke Corp. and board member of the CodePlex Foundation.
Besides the presentations there will be plenty of opportunity to meet with speakers, sponsors and fellow DotNetNuke enthusiasts. An event like this is not just about knowledge transfer, it is also about strengthening your network. The setting of this conference on the banks of the river Seine will be especially suited to meet informally and exchange your business ideas.
Not convinced yet? Then maybe mention this event to your spouse. Spend a long weekend in the most romantic city on Earth in May, possibly the best time of the year to be in Paris.
