Store Documentation - Part 1

Getting Started with the DotNetNuke Store Module

Overview
The DotNetNuke Store Module is more than just one module.  The DotNetNuke consists of five individual modules all with specific tasks.  Each module is identified below:

Store Admin – Manages store settings, products and orders.
Store Catalog – Displays products and categories.
Store Menu – Displays a listing of categories within the store.
Store Mini Cart – Allows you to offer a smaller cart display that you may want on every page.
Store Account – Provides access to main shopping cart and account information

First Steps
You should consider the layout for your store before you start adding modules to pages.  Specifically, you will want pages for your Store Admin, Store Catalog and Store Account.

Step 1 – Create a page with admin only permissions to hold the Store Admin module.
Step 2 – Create a page for your Store Catalog.
Step 3 – Create a page for your Store Account.
Step 4 - You will now want to add the appropriate module to each page.

Store Admin Module
The Store Admin Module gives you access to manage all the various settings for your store.  You will also be able to manage Categories, Products, Customers and Reviews.  Follow the steps below to get started with your store:

Comments

Is anyone aware of circumstances which would prevent payment status updates from Awaiting Payment to Paid using the PayPal gateway? We have been using it for over a year but since April 1, even though the moneys have been received, the status of the payments has not updated. It was fine before that.
