It’s been a month since I attended the Openforce Europe conference in The Netherlands and since then I have been meaning to highlight the efforts of a specific DotNetNuke ecosystem vendor…
DotNetMushroom ( for dense folks like myself, in this context “mushroom” is referring to a “nuclear mushroom cloud” and is a creative spin on the DotNetNuke brand ) is a division of Holistic and is located in Malta, a southern European country in the Mediterranean sea. They provide both products and services within the DNN ecosystem and I would like to take this opportunity to showcase a few of their reference sites which they have created for some internationally renowned brands utilizing DotNetNuke.
Hyundai is a group of companies founded in South Korea best-known as the world's fourth largest automaker. DotNetMushroom created an interactive website for the Malta division of Hyundai Motor Company:
In the same industry, Fiat ( an acronym for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino ) is an Italian automobile manufacturer, engine manufacturer, financial and industrial group based in Turin and is the world's ninth largest carmaker as well as Italy's largest carmaker. DotNetMushroom created a regional website for the Malta division of Fiat:
And in a completely different industry, Debenhams is a publicly listed British retailer with 160 department stores in the UK, Ireland and Denmark, and franchise stores in other countries.
In most of their projects they utilize their Rapid Application Developer ( DNM RAD) product – a rapid application development module for DotNetNuke which can build tables, queries, forms, create navigation between forms and perform many other tasks quickly and efficiently.
DotNetMushroom were exhibitors at the Openforce Europe conference in 2009 and was the only DotNetNuke-specific exhibitor at the Openforce Europe conference in 2010. I had a great time chatting with Justin Mifsud and Ruben Gatt during the conference in Zeist and it really emphasizes how valuable it is for members of the DNN ecosystem to attend these events and take the opportunity to interact with one another in person.
