We’re proud to announce this year keynote speaker at Day of DotNetNuke Chicago event is Nik Kalyani. If you haven’t been around the community much, Nik Kalyani is one of the co-founders of DotNetNuke Corp. He’s a real talented individual who wears many hats within DotNetNuke.
Nik has been an integral part of the ecosystem. With his creative and the passion for innovation within community, he has led many DotNetNuke engagements. The most recent community engagement is DNN mobile Hackathon in St. Louis which received tremendous support from people not just from St. Louis but across the country.
Here’s a brief bio from Mr. Kalyani himself:
Nik Kalyani is founder and CEO of HyperCrunch. He is also co-founder and Strategic Advisor for DotNetNuke Corp., the company that manages the Open Source DotNetNuke web content management platform. Kalyani is a technology entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in the software industry having founded or co-founded four startups, two of them venture-funded. He is an active participant in the DotNetNuke ecosystem, recently having produced DotNetNuke Hackathons in Orlando, DC and St. Louis. Kalyani has been recognized for his community contributions with the Microsoft MVP award for six years in a row. He speaks regularly at conferences, user group meetings and code camps on topics including DotNetNuke, cloud computing and technology startups. He also provides strategic and technical guidance to a select group of companies that use DotNetNuke in mission-critical scenarios.
HyperCrunch, his current, early-stage startup, is focused on building a broad-based, automated curation solution to address the information glut everybody faces on today's hyper-social web.
