Today, as part of our ongoing DotNetNuke Connections speakers Q&A series, we highlight a developer who is excited to be speaking at DevConnections for the first time. Though Chad Nash of Data Springs Inc. isn’t yet on the speaker circuit, he is certainly well-recognized in the community as a top selling vendor of modules for DotNetNuke. If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet Chad at one of the past conferences in Las Vegas, your chance is now! Catch Chad during his session – or say hello to him and his staff at their exhibitor booth (# 607/609)

Leveraging Snowcovered.com: Boost Sales and Decrease Support Issues
Q. Why are you looking forward to DotNetNuke Connections '10?
A. I am interested in meeting new and previous contacts and customers as well as discussing opportunities with fellow DotNetNuke and Microsoft vendors.
Q. What other conferences have you attended this year? What makes DevConnections different?
A. I have attended the Day of DotNetNuke in Paris and a few user groups. DevConnections is the largest conference for DotNetNuke and as a major vendor we feel that we need to be there to meet our customers, build relationships with our customers and other vendors, and showcase new products and services.
Q. Why should people consider attending your session?
A. As one of the largest vendors of modules for the DotNetNuke platform - and the largest on Snowcovered - other developers and vendors can learn about some of the tips and tricks to our success so they can apply these towards their development goals for meeting customer expectations and needs.
Q. When you’re not presenting, which session at DotNetNuke Connections are you most interested in attending?
A. Sessions on localization since there have been many added features to DotNetNuke specifically related to localization, as well as DotNetNuke for Mobile applications as we have many resources focused on areas of development related to mobile applications and integrations with the DotNetNuke platform.
Q. Do you have any particularly interesting memory from a past DotNetNuke conference or gathering that you would like to share?
A. We always have a great time meeting with clients, past and present, at DevConnections. Last year we hosted a round table event within one of the hotel suites at Mandalay Bay and had a great time. In general the social events of the past including having dinner with vendors and clients and the DNN social have been a lot of fun and a reason to attend outside of the sessions and visiting the booths.
Q. Any specific sights, shows, or events that you plan to make time for while in Las Vegas this fall?
A. My favorite show in Vegas, by far, is the Beatles Love show. You wouldn't think that the Beatles and Cirque du Soleil would go together but they really do. Go for the expensive tickets when you book that show, its worth it!
Q. How long have you been part of the DotNetNuke community?
A. Over six years now. I believe since DotNetNuke 2.x or slightly before.
Q. What area of DotNetNuke do you specialize in?
A. DotNetNuke Module Development and DotNetNuke Performance Consulting.
Q. What is one thing you wished everyone knew about DotNetNuke?
A. How scalable DotNetNuke can be and how you can leverage multiple modules to create powerful work flow and implementations.
Q. What is the DotNetNuke web site you’re most proud of?
A. Well, we work on many solutions for customers but probably I am most proud of our web site -
www.datasprings.com - since we spend so much time working on it!
