This blog series outlines my "hidden heroes" to improve the user experince of DotNetNuke web site - and the best of it: all can be downloaded and used for free.
In the
first part, I presented free Advanced Control Panel, you may download for free from
www.OliverHine.com..
This post I'd like to present
WatchersNet ModuleActionsMenu by Ingo Herbote. Unfortunately, there are a large number of web sites still using Solpart Menu as action menu within their sites; Not only for this control support has ended years ago, it also adds some overload and has no idea of XHTML compliance and HTML 5 standards.

To install, download the package from
dnnmoduleactions.codeplex.com, install as any other extension package and modify your container to use it - in this sample
I am using the follwing statement:
There are samples provided on the project web site, how to include in HTML skins as well. The action menu is lightweight and easy to adopt to your skin (4 css files are already included). A new features allows replacing right click menu within module contents by the menu - at least in Firefox.
ModuleActionMenu can be applied to any web site running DNN 4.5.0 or abouve. you may download for free from dnnmoduleactions.codeplex.com - have fun using it!
