While in the configuration menu of the Gallery, I am unable to edit both the image or media file extensions.

The image file extension has values yet their is no input field (Greyed Out)

The video file extension has no values and their is no input field.

I am logged in with the SuperUser account.

The image and media file extensions allowed in Gallery are actually those allowed by the host installation and are not configured within the Gallery module.

When logged in as host user navigate to Host-->Host Settings --> Advanced Settings --> Other Settings where you will find a field for "Allowable File Extensions". This is a comma delimited list of the extensions allowed. When entering additional image and media extensions note that each extension listed should be in lower case and without a leading period.

After updating Host Settings, it may take an application restart before they will showup in Gallery. Not also that Gallery can handle only a limited number of image and media types. If I remember correctly these are jpg, png, gif, bmp, mpg, wmv, avi, mov, and swf. I don't think that tga or tif were allowable image file types.
