Hi, guys.  I'm using DNN 7.2.1 with the DNN Auth AD 5.0.6.  The AppPool is using .NET 4.0 in integrated mode.

I followed the instructions here and was able to get the module working except for a few minor quirks
http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/documentation

Whenever I update my settings, the page closes, and I'm never shown the results of the changes that are referenced in the documentation.  In other words, I never see the following results:
- Accessing Global Catalog
- Checking Root Domain
- Accessing LDAP
- Find all domains in network

The documentation says that those results should appear above the "Enabled" checkbox after you click "Update Setting Link".  In my installation, I only have an "Update Authentication Settings" button, and when I click it, the page closes and I'm back out to the Admin -> Extensions page.  My settings are always saved, though.

"Van, if you got the module working, why do you care if you don't see the results of the test?"  Because I'm unable to get it work properly with the root domain of this customers network.  I get it to work properly only if I point it to one of the subdomains.

I've tried IE 11, the latest version of Chrome, and the latest version of Firefox, and I am unable to see the results of the test.  Does anyone have any ideas?

I'll have to check against a 7.2.1 install to see if anything has changed in the core code that's causing it to switch back like you're seeing. I'm behind a few versions of testing against DNN due to other commitments.

Mike, thanks for the response.

The site I am working on is using a custom skin.  Just in case the skin was causing some sort of interference, I temporarily set the site to use the stock MinimalExtropy skin and container.  However, this change didn't have any impact on the issue at all.

See Ya!
