Hi ,

I have a windows authentication intranet website, my boss asked me to check if LDAP is used. I checked source code and DNN datebase, couldn't find where LDAP is configured. So I think LDAP is not used. But my questions is: once a domain new user opened the site, the user profile details is added into user list (telephone, address,etc), how DNN get the user profile details? Is is through LDAP or not through LDAP.

Thanks

Hi,

I can't find any AD setting in the files and database, so I suppose active directory provider is not used

log in as host and go to host->extensions and see if it's listed under the authentication providers section (and in use)

Hi,

I tried many times, but don't how to insert image here, I can't show screen capture here. So just typed what I see here

Under Host->Extension

Modules

      Name                 Version     In Use

Authentication      6.2.3            No

Under Authentication Systems

Name                                                                  Version                  In Use

Default Authentication                                      6.2.3

DNN_ActiveDirectoryAuthentication               5.0.2

I can't find any LDAP setting here. Does DNN get windows logging credential and using that access AD service? I just like to know if LDAP used, if yes, where's the LDAP setting? Is there any other way can get the user details without LDAP?

Thank you very much.
