Hi there.

I've a little question. I have to make a webportal about a rental enterprise. They rent some skis, mountainbike, organize some treks in the nature... So as they are localized in a region where people are talking German, French, Dutch... I have to translate all messages in the own language. So I wondered how, with DNN objects, I can do this. Eighter with own components of DNN, existing components or even by developping myself. Whet's the best way to do this ?

The concerned modules are news, events, ...

Thanks by advance !

Eric, DNN beginner

Hi, I have the same question. Is there built-in support for localizing content? In other words is it possible for editors and writers to create localized versions of each page? Sure it is nice to have static text localized but after all content is king :)

For myself, It's absolutely mandatory to translate ALL the contents... as our customers have to understand all and feel home on our website.

there are 3rd party solutions for content localization, e.g. from Apollo Software (I use them at www.deutschnetnuke.de) and Locopon.

Cheers from Germany,

http://www.apollo-software.nl. thanks! 17 dollars - http://www.snowcovered.com/Snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=166&CatalogItemID=1616&r=331a1a7da9 Any idea why this is not in the core? I mean it is usually the users who need their locale not the admins/ developers (we all seem to get by pretty well in English :)
