Well, I've selected all the language packs using my host and I see that all my parent and children admins have them nicely listed but...

I cannot, for the life of me, find out what to do next?  I have static sites and, I really don't want to use Google Translator since it's less professional with that "huge yellow title bar above the translated site" so...what's next; i.e. - how do I get my static pages to convert and where is there a drop-down list showing the user the language choices (again, I am static so...no need for 3rd party)?  And, if it's going to be url and/or browser language detected, can I test those instances on my own computer?

What's next?  Help!

if you installed additional language packs, all static words of the framework and modules are shown in the current language.

to be able to provide a multilingual web site with content in multiple languages you need 3rd party solutions like free ealo.codeplex.com, free DSLocalizator from dnn.tiendaboliviana.com or PageLocalization from www.apollo-softwrae.nl, either of them usable for translation of page properties and menu. You also nee multilingual modules, e.g. from the previously mentioned developers (you may mix as you like) or use free MagicNews.codeplex.com.
