Hi,

I have upgraded DNN 04.09.05 to 05.04.04 successfully.

On previous version 04.09.05, when I click to a Menu e.g. http://www.domain.com/about.aspx it is working fine

But on newer version 05.04.04, when I click to a Menu, it is taking tabid e.g. http://www.domain.com/Default.aspx?tabid=64

I want redirection like previous version i.e. http://www.domain.com/about.aspx instead of tabid

Can some one tell me what is the issue?

Regards,

Govind Daliya

this looks like an issue with urlrewriter, please make sure, in web.config, urlFormat is specified as "HumanFriendly"
You may continue upgrading to DNN 7, for getting extensionless URLs.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for reply.

In Web.config, I have already specified this:

<friendlyUrl defaultProvider="DNNFriendlyUrl">

      <providers>

        <clear />

        <add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" urlFormat="HumanFriendly" />

      </providers>

 </friendlyUrl>

If continuing upgrading DNN resolves this issue, Can I move further to upgrade DNN up-to newer version?

Regards,

Govind Daliya
