Hi to all,

I would like to have javascripts "links" on main menu.
To do this now I am creating a new page, enabling the Include In Menu? option inside page settings.
Then on Advanced Settings -> Other Settings -> Link Url i select URL ( A Link To An External Resource ) and input my javascript like this:
jav(a)script:(a)lert("test"); (brackets added to prevent forum to cripple code)
But when I save it automatically put http:// in front of my link so it becomes http://jav(a)script:(a)lert("test"); which obviously does not work.

Is there a way put javascript inside links on main menu ?

BTW I am using DNN 5.6.1
Thank you in advance

The core is designed to filter out this type of thing and the http:// being added is going to impact you regardless of the menu provider so I don't see this as being possible.

Thank you for the promptly response.
I suppose this design is to avoid some sort of attack/defacing. If not I would like to know why you decided to implement it this way.

I will search for a workaround and then eventually post back here.
