Just got a new reuirement to update key business partners when an update to a link is made. Was wondering if there is a way through events to send an email to a selected role when a new link is added to a particular module or when a URL for a link is changed?

I have a couple of ideas of how to handle this behind DNN but would like to get some thoughts from the team before I share mine.

THanks,

Santiago

I am sorry, this feature is not provided by the module atm. you might add the request into the public issue tracker (2nd from top) at support.dotnetnuke.com.

I've requested this enhancement. thought of using notification services from SQL to accomplish this withsending an email. Any objections to this idea?

DotNetNuke provides its own scheduler, and according to the current architecture, this action should be triggered in business layer, not database (otherwise, e.g. a MS Access database would not be usable).
