Hi,

I'm new to DNN and am trying to find a way to remove the inline styles generated for image links when xhtmlConformance mode="Transitional" is set (i.e. stop  style="border-width:0px;" being added to the image tag).

I'm using v4.0.3 but I looked at the 3.2.2 source and couldn't see any refrence to "style".

Is the inline style generated by the image module or the core?

Thanks,

Rob.

The current Image Module doesn't reference the border-width style, but it does use the style attribute for height and width.

OK.  So where is the style attribute setting border-width to 0 coming from when I add an image using the image module?

Not sure. Can you post a link to the page?

I'm afraid I don't have anything on an externally accessible server but I was following the O'Brien tutorial on making DNN XHTML compliant.  I was using a clean install of version 4.0.3 and had set xhtmlConformance mode to Transitional.

In the section of the tutorial on adding an image it recommends removing the border="0" in the Image Module control because a duplicate border="0" is automatically generated for the image tag causing it to fail validation.

It appears that this border="0" is added only in Legacy xhtmlConformance mode. In Transitional mode style="border-width:0" is generated.

Hope that helps,

Rob.
