Hi, I tried to add an swf file to the media module, but it doesn't seem to play. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can easily add this in? I had originally added an mpeg into the module, but it autoplays and I don't want it to. So I thought the easiest way was to have flash control it, but now that isn't working. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

The Media Module has settings in the Module Options view to control the autoplay feature (near the bottom of the options).  Also, the SWF should play just fine, provided that the SWF was correctly created.  I cannot give guidance to how to create the SWF itself, but I can confirm that I thoroughly tested the module against numerous SWF files.

If you continue to have this issue, please respond to this thread, and I will help you troubleshoot further.

Sorry, I do not see the autoplay feature at all. The only options I see under media options are: Link type, file location, file name, alt text, width, height, link, link type, track number of clicks and open link in new browser. But no autoplay. Am I looking in the wrong spot? I also looked under the module settings and didn't see anything. Thank you for your help!

It sounds like you're not using the most recent version of the Media Module.  Why don't you try upgrading, and see if it solves anything for you?

DISCLAIMER:  Try it on a staging site first, and only upgrade after you have backed-up your website.  I have no idea what other extensions that you might have on your site that could conflict with the module or the upgrade.
