I have embedded a .wmv file--using the Media Module--into a web page, and the file plays just fine, but should I, or someone (tested on more than 20 different systems and configurations--32-bit, 64-bit, Vista, XP, etc., ie 7, ie 6, etc.) click on a link, or try to open a new web page (for any website, not simply mine), Internet Explorer begins--and NEVER STOPS--thinking (it stalls and crashes Internet Explorer). In other words, you may watch the video, but forget about doing anything else in Internet Explorer once you are done.

This happens regardless of the length of the movie (30 seconds, 1 hour);

This happens with 4 GB's of active memory (64-bit obviously); or 3 GB's in XP Pro (32-bit);

This happens, regardless of what we try!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

We've just encountered the same problem, though it is a bit random for us.  Sometimes it works fine others time not.

Did you find a solution to this?

Thanks,

Rob
