DNN version     - 6.1.2
Links version    - 6.0.0
IFrame version - 4.4

Hi - I'm attempting to use an IFrame module to display PDFs that have been uploaded to the site.

I have added a drop-down links module called 'Links'. What I would like to do is make it so when the user clicks a link in the 'Links' module it will open that pdf in the IFrame module. I'm guessing that if it's even possible, I would need to use some sort of QueryString parameter, but I'm at a loss as to which one and how I would go about setting it up. Any help would be appreciated

I've tried deciphering some of the other posts regarding the IFrame but I seem to be a dunce and don't seem to get it

Basically, you need some programming experience with javascript in order to do this.

You'd need to set SRC parameter of the IFRAME to whatever document you want to open in the iframe

If you can do some javascript or jquery, let me know - I'll give you more details.

I do have experience with JavaScript as well as .Net. I kind of knew that some programming would be involved, but don't know where or how to integrate

Here it is:

Find the ID of your IFrame tag (look in the source of the page) - suppose it's

Then add the following to every one of your links:

onclick=" document.getElementById('dnn_ctr943_IFrame_htmIFrame ').src = url"

There are different ways of doing this. This one is the simplest I think.
