The license for this component was supposed to expire 90 days after the release of .Net 2.0.  What is the current status on this component?

I believe MS released a valid DLL that's license was to allow continued use, rather than the 90 day limitation. Otherwise all of the DNN 3.* releases after November of 2005 would be invalid, which I know they are not.

I cannot find it anywhere on the MS or ASP.Net sites.  MS support has been useless unable to understand that this is not a standard product.

What are you trying to find? I doubt you'll get support from Microsoft on this, I would imagine it was an unsupported release.

I am trying to confirm that the MemberRoles.dll can still be used.  Just because DNN is using it is not enough proof.  The only mention at MS says that it will expire 4 months after the release of 2.0.
