Usersonline with 4.7 Does Not Work

We have upgraded about 8 sites and usersonline no longer works. We have checked settings in host and scheduler and they are correct. We downloaded and installed latest usersonline from the dotnetnuke site. that does not help the issue. looks like a problem in the core populating the tables.

Found the solution:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/107/threadid/183028/scope/posts/Default.aspx

make sure, both connection strings in web.config are identical and do not end with a ";"

I added ; to the end of both and usersonline and banner Ads started working.

Spoke to soon, it worked temporarily, than stopped working again.

We have this same issue with 8 sites we upgraded from DNN 3 to DNN4.

Also Banner Ads won't rotate after the upgrade.
