When using a feedback module on a page there are several options that appear.

-Category

-Use Category value as Send To:

-Subject List Visible

-Moderation Category

Yet, there is no way to add categories of any kind.   According to another post, there is supposed to be some way to add these categories via an 'Action' list.  I see no menu item like this.

I'm on version 4.09

did you check the module action list, usually displayed in top module corner, when in edit mode.

Right,  it wasn't there.

Then fishing for an answer, I set the module definitions properties to 'supports partial rendering.'  The menu item then appeared.

Can someone explain 'supports partial rendering' option?

Choose Feedback Lists from the module's dropdown to define categories.
