We have upgraded the FAQ Module  from DNN 4 to DNN 5, which supports managing questions and answers in category.

Please feel free to let us know what you think about.

This is probably a silly question but how can I edit the categories?  There is nothing in the menu that says Manage Categories.

Thanks,

Eric

Eric, just an assumption: many developers use DNN list, which can be edited from Host :: Lists menu item (superusers only).

The category management is exactly what I was searching for. But no FKCEditor for questions and answers are really too bad. I have some documentation in HTML format to put as an answer for some questions, with images and so on, actually impossible to do with this module. But i'm pretty sure that this module will really rock in futur releases ! Good job guys !

You could also use the Repository module ( if you were to develop a custom template ).  The 'articles' module would be a good starting point as it displays a 'summary' then reveals the full text when a link is clicked, similar to FAQs.  The Repository module is completely skinnable (templates) includes categories, user ratings, comments, moderation, a companion dashboard module for things like 'latest items', 'highest rated'

It uses the HTML editor for both the summary and description fields, so it will allow you to build an HTML-FAQ module.

Check out the Admin/User's Guide on the project downloads page for more information and some samples of what you can do with the module

If you are interested and have any questions, just ask :)
