Hello, I am having trouble getting the FAQ module to work.  I currently updated my site from 4.3 and the FAQ Module is not working.  I am running SQL Server express 2005 and DNN 5.01.  I have unistalled the module and reinstalled the new version 4.04 with no errors. Both my connections string are identical and I have set my remote connections to both TCP/IP and named pipes.

Here is the error when I try and Add module to page.

Error: FAQs is currently unavailable.

Thanks for the Help.

Kevin,

I am quite sure, the issue is the second connection string inside your web.config, section "appSettings" - make sure it is not commented.

I had a similar error. I currently updated my site from 4.3 and the FAQ Module is not working anymore.  I am running SQL Server 2005 and DNN 5.01.  I have unistalled the module and reinstalled the new version 4.04 with no errors.

In my case has been solved with web.config setting. I changed SQL server and forgotten appSetting in webConfig.
