We have an external application recording company events (vacations, off-site, etc.).  Looking for resources for further review or links to existing products that provide mass import capabilities from a SQL table to the Events and EventsRecurMaster tables.  My expectation is to delete all table records tied to that specific ModuleID then import new calendar entries on a daily basis.  thanks

You might be able to learn something about how to make this happen by creating some events directly in Events module, and then export that data.

Using the exported file, you can import the same records into another Events module.

So by reviewing that xml file you might be able to query your other data into a similar XML file, and then use it to import.

And then perhaps you can figure out from that how to bypass the XML and GUI and write direct SQL inserts, or perhaps better locate the procedures used for Events module inserts and pass data to that / those procedures.

I would not rely on XML structure of a module export. there is no guarantee that objects in BCL match database tables.

Thank you for the update.  I have the table structures documented and will try a direct import procedure.
