I'm using a Chris Hammond DAL2 MVC template.

In the Settings tab, there is a tab created with the module name for more specific settings for the module.  I have my own coded in, using buttons to update them.

How does one hide the 'stock' buttons?  It's a simple jQuery command but the buttons are not in the HTML context of the .cshtml file and thus finding them by ID, Class and Tag, etc. won't affect HTML in the overall DOM.  Here is a screen shot.  The yellow border items come 'stock', the others I've added.  The container for the buttons appears on all pages.

I can remove the settings objects at the top, how would one hide, for this tab only, the container for the Update, Delete, Cancel buttons?

You should be able to simply remove them. You may find that you also need to update the view model and other supporting backend code too though.

Missing something obvious, Will.

This is a skin object that's on the other 3 tabs.  Removing it totally takes the 3 buttons off the tabs where they're needed.

I've set these up with .ascx before.  How are these removed from only 1 tab in the MVC template?

Thanks,

Mike
