Hi everybody,

We have some modules developed as WebForms and we would like to move with DNN to new technology.

As I was reading here in the community lot of articles every seems to point to Angular and/or React, of course now I've lot of doubts

Which is best
Which is easier to learn
Which is easier to implement and migrate our modules

some hurdles I've found to React are, lack of documentation (let me be clear, the facebook.github.io/react/ seems to be pretty good but that's all or may be I didn't searched well), also lack of controls, we use Telerik controls on our WebForms and until today I can't find a React control provider, on the other hand Angular 2 seems to be pretty good for UI and manage in a very fluently manner the flows of the applications.

I know that Angular and React aren't the same thing then would be difficult to do a full comparison, but since I could use Angular as a "View Engine" (or I think so, please correct me if I'm wrong) I could do the comparison at this level.

I'd like to hear your opinions, advices, tips and if you were at the same situation evaluating these two technologies and which you choosed and why.

Finally, at the end of the day, I need to "rebuild" this modules as (what I think would be) SPA developing services in .net and using one of these (Angular/React) for rendering the UI.

Thanks in advance for your time and guide.

Regards,

Gabriel Aizcorbe.
