Hi all,

I am very new to developing DNN modules and web development in general, so apologies for my lack of knowledge. I am currently trying to add a few custom changes to the open source Form and List module

So far, I have set up my DNN site that is running on a remote server with its own database. I have just downloaded the .zip file from the page above and extracted its contents. Now, I am stuck. I would like to install this module in the DesktopModules folder of my website. I have found tat simply dragging the module folder into that directory does not work, as my website does not recognize it and the database has no changes.

Ideally, I would like to place the module in a page of my website, make code changes, build in Visual Studio, and refresh the page to see the changes. I assume this would mean that I need to somehow make changes to the database through Microsoft SQL Management Studio as well. How can I achieve this? Any help would be spectacular. Thank you!
