Hi

I upgraded dnn 6.x.x to latest version, everything is ok except html editor. When I click on edit content, in internet explorer displays the page can not dispaied, in chrome nothing happened and in firefox it  shows this error : The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected. How can I fix it?

which editor provider are you using (see host > Editor Configuration or web.config for older versions of DNN)?
You may try installing latest version of free CKEditor provider from http://dnnckeditor,codeplex.com.

When I click Install Extension Wizard, nothing happened except scrollbar disappears. Did I do something wrong in upgrading?

Before installing you have to unblock the zip file about a security feature of Windows.  If the upgrade are running w/o issue Messages the database should be allright.  Check permissions be shure you have inherit the folder permissions from your root folder to all files and subfolders.

For more help we need the DNN Version you installed and the Skin you are using.  Did the local IUser have read permissions and the application pool user full permissions to all files and subfolders? Are the permissions inherited t all files and subfolders?

Get you any error Messages on the DNN Event log?

Also, check the following:

  • if using hosted jQuery and jQuery UI (set in Host --> Host Settings --> Advanced Settings --> jQuery Settings), the version numbers in the URL's do not get updated properly during upgrades. They should be 1.9.1 for jQuery and 1.10.3 for jQueryUI.
  • verify that your server environment meets the minimum requirements for DNN 7.x - in particular that the IIS application pool is running in integrated pipeline mode and not classic mode. Other requirements are found here: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/Platform/S...
  • Using Firebug for Firefox or IE Developer tools, check that the JavaScript console is not showing errors when you click on the Install Extensions Wizard or other buttons. If so, you likely have a JavaScript version conflict between the required version for the DNN platform and that required for an older skin.
